The Château de Lavagnac is to become a 5-star hotel. Seventy luxury suites, housed in what were once the ornate parlours of dukes and barons, will play host to guests from around the world. The château’s grand reception rooms will also be restored to their former glory. Once again, light will flood in through enormous French windows and sparkling chandeliers, and across original mosaic floors.

A gourmet restaurant will serve up mouth-watering dishes - using the finest local ingredients such as garrigue herbs, Bouzigues oysters, wild mushrooms and boar. And in the evening, you’ll be able to unwind on one of the hotel’s terraces, lined with elegant carved-stone balustrades, and sip a cocktail as the sun sets over the vineyards.
